The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) is proposing changes to recreational fishing rules. We want to enhance protection for vulnerable migrating fish and provide additional extended fall angling opportunities on the Lower Ganaraska River, for species such as:
- Atlantic salmon
- brown trout
- Pacific salmon
- rainbow trout
We are looking for feedback from anglers and anyone interested in Ontario’s fisheries resources.
This survey will help us understand your perspectives and inform the changes we make to improve angling experiences. We want to make sure recreational fishing is managed in a way that protects vulnerable fish and promotes compliance with fishing rules.
