If you are a business that has encountered red tape or regulatory burden at the provincial level and would like to report your experience, this is your opportunity to let us know.
Red tape includes any rules that are duplicative, outdated, unclear, overly prescriptive, poorly designed and, or generate unnecessary burdens or costs.
What happens when you submit an idea or issue?
Once we have received your submission, we review it and route to any relevant Ontario ministries for their review. We will provide you with an initial response to your submission within 14 business days.
On a larger scale, submission data are collected to help us identify possible problem areas and which types of businesses are commonly impacted. Your input helps us shape legislation, policies and regulations.
What to expect?
You will be asked questions about the red tape that you are facing and your business so we can understand your issue and route it to the proper ministry.
- The form typically takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes to complete, depending on the level of detail you choose to provide.
- You will receive a confirmation email with your feedback details.
